  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • 3 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices pepperoni or topping of choice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C) and place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven to heat.
  • Lay the tortilla on a flat surface and lightly brush one side with olive oil. This will become the bottom and help it crisp up.
  • Flip the tortilla and spread pizza sauce evenly over the top, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce in an even layer.
  • Add your toppings such as pepperoni, vegetables, or cooked sausage.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano and crushed red pepper flakes for added flavor.
  • Carefully transfer the tortilla pizza onto the hot baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven.
  • Bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden and crisp.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool for one minute, then garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  • Slice and serve immediately.
