Ingredients
  

  • 450 grams ground beef
  • Half green bell pepper diced
  • Half yellow onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 120 milliliters beef broth
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • Butter for toasting buns optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned
  • Add diced onion and green pepper, sauté until softened
  • Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper
  • Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth
  • Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes
  • Lower heat and lay cheese slices on top
  • Cover with a lid until cheese is fully melted
  • Stir to mix cheese into the meat
  • Toast buns with butter in a skillet if desired
  • Spoon cheesy beef mixture onto buns and serve warm

Notes

  • Swap provolone for mozzarella or cheddar if needed
