- 36 Oreo cookies
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 12 ounces semisweet or white chocolate for coating
- Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for garnish optional
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. Reserve 2 tablespoons of crumbs for garnish if desired.
Add softened cream cheese to the food processor and blend until fully combined. The mixture should form a thick, dough-like texture.
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll into balls using your hands. Place balls on the prepared baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 20–30 minutes to firm up the truffles.
While truffles are chilling, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring each time until smooth.
Using a fork, dip each truffle ball into the melted chocolate, let excess chocolate drip off, then place the coated truffle back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
If using sprinkles or crushed Oreos for garnish, sprinkle over the truffles before the coating hardens.
Chill the coated truffles in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes, until the chocolate is set.
Serve cold and enjoy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
