Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting chocolate

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Place the Oreo cookies into a food processor or blender and pulse until the cookies are finely crushed into a uniform crumb.
  • Transfer the crushed Oreos into a mixing bowl. Add the softened cream cheese and use a silicone spatula or your hands to mix until fully combined and a dough forms.
  • Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, scoop out about one tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a smooth ball. Place the Oreo balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Once all the balls are formed, place the tray in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill. This step helps them hold their shape during dipping.
  • While the Oreo balls are chilling, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second increments, stirring each time, until chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  • Using a fork, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, making sure it is fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing back on the parchment-lined tray.
  • After all the balls are dipped and placed on the tray, allow them to set at room temperature until the chocolate hardens. For faster results, return the tray to the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  • Once set, serve immediately or store for later. Enjoy every bite.
