- 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
 - 4 cloves garlic minced
 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
 - 1 pinch red pepper flakes
 - 1/3 cup heavy cream
 - 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
 - Salt to taste
 - Black pepper to taste
 - Chopped parsley for garnish

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until pink and slightly golden. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
Add remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated parmesan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to warm through.
Add lemon juice and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
