- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- Extra flour for dusting
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
Add the Greek yogurt and milk to the bowl and mix with a spoon or hands until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 10 minutes.
While the dough is resting, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then roll out into a thin oval or circle about 6 inches wide.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, cook one piece of dough at a time for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown spots appear and the dough is cooked through.
Brush each flatbread generously with the garlic and parsley butter while still warm.
Serve immediately or allow to cool for storage.
