- 36 Oreo cookies
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting chocolate
- Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for topping
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a food processor or blender, pulse the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Reserve about 2 tablespoons if you wish to sprinkle some on top.
Transfer the crumbs to a mixing bowl. Add the softened cream cheese and mix thoroughly using a rubber spatula until fully combined and smooth.
Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Chill the balls in the freezer for 20 minutes or in the fridge for 1 hour until firm.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off before placing back on the parchment paper.
Immediately garnish with sprinkles or reserved cookie crumbs before the coating sets.
Once all balls are coated, refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to firm up.
Serve chilled or at room temperature and enjoy.
