Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it begins to foam.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden. Stir constantly to avoid burning.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and add the Italian seasoning. Stir well to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to low and allow the cream mixture to simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
  • Slowly add the grated Parmesan cheese in small batches, whisking continuously until melted and fully incorporated.
  • Continue to simmer on low heat for another 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately or store as directed.
