Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound sirloin or flank steak thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef slices with salt and pepper. Sear the beef for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until nicely browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and tent with foil.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce begins to thicken.
  • Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and return the seared beef to the skillet. Let it warm through in the sauce for 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss to coat every strand with the creamy garlic sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and extra parmesan if desired.
