- 8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 1 pound sirloin or flank steak thinly sliced
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
 - 6 cloves garlic minced
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
 - Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef slices with salt and pepper. Sear the beef for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until nicely browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and tent with foil.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce begins to thicken.
Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and return the seared beef to the skillet. Let it warm through in the sauce for 2 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss to coat every strand with the creamy garlic sauce.
Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and extra parmesan if desired.
