Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese

- 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
 - 3 tablespoons buffalo wing sauce
 - 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
 - 4 slices sourdough bread
 - 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
 
 
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing. Stir well until the chicken is evenly coated.
Lay out the sourdough bread slices on a flat surface. On two of the slices, place one slice of cheddar cheese.
Spoon half of the buffalo chicken mixture over each cheese-topped slice. Spread it evenly and top with another slice of cheddar cheese.
Place the remaining slices of bread on top to close the sandwiches.
Spread the softened butter on the outsides of each slice of bread.
Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from heat, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.
