Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 3 tablespoons buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing. Stir well until the chicken is evenly coated.
  • Lay out the sourdough bread slices on a flat surface. On two of the slices, place one slice of cheddar cheese.
  • Spoon half of the buffalo chicken mixture over each cheese-topped slice. Spread it evenly and top with another slice of cheddar cheese.
  • Place the remaining slices of bread on top to close the sandwiches.
  • Spread the softened butter on the outsides of each slice of bread.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from heat, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.
