- 1 pound ground beef 80% lean
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup milk
- Olive oil spray or a small amount of oil for greasing
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease it with oil.
In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, onion powder, oregano, salt, black pepper, parsley, and milk.
Mix everything until just combined, using clean hands or a spoon. Do not overmix to keep the meatballs tender.
Scoop out about two tablespoons of the mixture at a time and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet about one inch apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F/71°C).
Let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite sauce, pasta, in sandwiches, or enjoy them on their own.
