 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
 - 1 cup granulated sugar
 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
 - 1 cup light brown sugar
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until evenly coated.
Spread the apple mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, oats, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the butter using your fingers or a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the apples.
